The best thing about the unseasonably warm weather in this area is that the steelheading has been very consistent since November. Eric and I fished the Rocky yesterday and hooked 10 fish between the two of us in just about 3 hours in the morning. Cream sucker spawn, black stone flies, and the new Spirit River "Roe-Gain" egg were the hot flies. Lots of fish in the upper river.
